You’re not here to fetch coffee.

Internships at The Citizen’s Poste are part of our editorial core. These roles are designed for curious, driven, and culturally fluent individuals who want hands-on experience shaping stories, building networks, and creating culture in real time. You’ll gain practical skills, meaningful bylines, and direct exposure to how an independent publication operates at a high level.

Interns are treated as contributors, not assistants: your work will have visibility, impact, and a seat at the table. If eligible, you can also receive college credit for the semester. Across all roles, we value initiative, time management, cultural curiosity, and people skills. We look for self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative individuals who can contribute ideas, take ownership, and move quickly in a fast-paced, creative environment.

The following roles are open for the FW25 Semester. Applications are open though October 3rd, 2025.

Print Editorial

Our print magazine is TCP’s crown jewel: a bi-annual object that captures the shape of fashion and culture today. As Editorial Assistant, Print, you’ll be immersed in every stage of the process: sourcing stories, organizing content, liaising with contributors, and helping ensure the final product feels both timely and timeless.

  • You’re a sharp communicator with strong grammar and professional email etiquette. You’re curious about culture, quick on your feet, and comfortable juggling multiple deadlines. Google Suite, Dropbox, Adobe Suite, and Notion are second nature to you. Most importantly, you’re a people person: approachable, witty, and confident when building relationships.

Digital Editorial & Partnerships

TCP’s digital magazine is where immediacy meets perspective: a space for features, commentary, and cultural intelligence. As Editorial & Partnerships Associate, you’ll shape our digital voice while cultivating the relationships that keep TCP connected— from contributors and collaborators to brands and sponsors.

    • Draft, edit, and refine digital features and commentary pieces.

    • Manage the digital editorial calendar and review incoming pitches.

    • Research and identify potential contributors, partners, and sponsors.

    • Support outreach and relationship management across TCP’s network.

    • Bring cultural fluency to every project, connecting editorial with growth opportunities.

  • You have strong writing and editing skills and can curate stories that feel both intelligent and engaging. You’re comfortable with Google Suite, Notion, and Squarespace, and you thrive in a team setting while keeping projects organized. You’re culturally fluent— aware of designers, tastemakers, and the shifts shaping fashion and media— and you bring initiative, adaptability, and confidence to your work.

Social & Community

TCP’s social channels and community platforms are the heartbeat of our cultural conversation. As Social & Community Coordinator, you’ll help craft TCP’s digital presence, spark engagement across Instagram and The Residency, and support community moments both digitally and in-person.

    • Concept, edit, and post content across Instagram (Reels, Stories, and Posts).

    • Manage the content calendar and contribute ideas that feel fresh and culturally sharp.

    • Write captions with clarity, wit, and tone aligned to TCP’s editorial voice.

    • Support subscription initiatives, including The Residency and Sunday Dispatch.

    • Contribute to the planning and coordination of community events and activations.

    • Engage with TCP’s community both online and in person.

  • You’re fluent in Instagram and native editing tools, with an instinct for sharp, scroll-stopping content. You write with clarity and wit, and you’re organized enough to keep calendars and content pipelines moving smoothly. You’re socially confident— comfortable interacting with the community online and on the ground— and excited to bring creative energy into events and activations.

All roles are part-time/remote and require 15hrs/week with flexible hours. To apply, email mackenzie@posteposteposte.com with your résumé and a short note about why you’re interested in the role. Please use the subject line format:
